I'm Pappaw

Welcome to Pappaw's Thoughts. This is where I'll share my daily devotion time with our Heavenly Father. Please check back daily, as I will post my latest thoughts, Monday through Friday.

My given name is Steve Green. I'm not the famous singer. I am a musician (Bluegrass Gospel) and sing bass. Like the famous Steve Green, I am devoted to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I also have opportunity to play Contemporary Gospel music, playing bass in our church worship team.

These devotions began as email messages between me and my good friend Walter. We'd share jokes and our thoughts about our relationships with the Heavenly Father. From this, I was led to share these devotional thoughts from my morning devotional time with God.

This has now become a Global ministry, reaching further than I could have imagined. I encourage you to share these devotions, while reserving my right for any publication. God gives the inspiration for these devotions. Usually, I feel what I've written is directed toward me...till I've heard from some of you, who will tell me it was meant for them.

Having been involved in one form of ministry or another, since 1978, I've often felt the urge or call to be involved in a larger ministry. I feel I may have answered that call, in creating this web site. I have no need for title, just call me Pappaw, or Steve. It's in His service and for His honor and to His glory, I dedicate this site to God.

May God add his blessings to the sharing of my personal time with Him. And, may the thoughts of my mind and the words from my fingertips be pleasing in His sight.  Amen!
